Weekly Times September 10, 2010

September 10, 2010

Dear 3B Parents and Students,

The Weekly Times is sheet that is sent home every Friday, with a brief list of “Headlines,” news of what we have done in class for the week. Parents and students should look over the “Headlines,” talking about what they are and what we did in class over the week. This gives parents and students a chance to have a conversation about what has been happening at school. After you have talked about the “Weekly Times”, please sign, cut off and return the bottom slip. If you have any questions or comments, please add them to the slip at the bottom. I also include any upcoming dates and announcements that are relevant to our class. Thank you and enjoy the “Weekly Times”!

Making Houses in Class

To get us thinking about shelters and houses, we were presented with a bag of materials and had to use them to contstruct a shelter for some toy people. It was challenging, but we did it!
