I will send copies of the target setting forms home with students when we get back from the break.

Wednesday, November 7 - School reopens

  • Break Assignments:  - 
1. Reading Log - Please read aloud with your child for 15 minutes - see letter in the LOG - children should have logged some reading at least 5 times this week with two being their banded books aloud to an adult - as usual
2. Reading JOURNAL - students write a letter to me using three sentence starters - please see journal for further explanation
3. Work on learning the 3 and 4 times tables.  If you already know them, you may move on to working on the 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 or 12 times tables!
4.  Enjoy the break!

It was great to have an opportunity to talk with all of the parents this week for the target setting conferences.  The target forms will be coming home this week.

This week there is a lot going on for HALLOWEEN:

  • Tuesday and Wednesday - Pumpkins are brought to school
  • Friday - Halloween Celebration at school with Bake Sale and Assembly- Children may come in costume but the costumes should not be too scary and no weapons (even toy weapons) are allowed
